Not in college anymore? Yeah, me neither. I can’t believe I’m saying this but, honestly, there’s so much more to Athens, Georgia than football. This little town… it will always hold a special place in my heart. I really kind of found myself here, so to speak. It took me awhile and several colleges, but once I landed in Athens I magically found my people and a college major I was passionate about (film and tv production).

My senior year of college, I met and fell in love with my husband. Needless to say = we LIVED IT UP our last semester. We graduated together which is such a special memory to me as well. But the biggest and best memory of all was our wedding! We got married at the Foundry right in the heart of downtown Athens.

TRY-ON SESSION // A PLUS BY ANTHROPOLOGIE

I’ve always stylistically aligned with Anthropologie but have never been able to shop there, so to speak. Sure, I could find the most fabulous kimono or pair of earrings or shoes. Or maybe a dress that ran big. But it was never a promise. This is a dream come true.

Today I visited the Avalon Anthropologie in Alpharetta, GA and I was so warmly welcomed by the staff. I was BLOWN. AWAY. by the selection. It felt like almost half of the store is plus size now. I cannot tell you how this feels to someone who knows what it’s like to go in a store and not be able to shop for yourself or feel included.

THE SWEATER BLAZER YOU DIDN'T KNOW YOU NEEDED

I’m both a blazer lover and a sweater addict but I had NO CLUE I needed this sweater blazer in my life. Camel is a classic, rich color that I love to incorporate into any wardrobe. Often times, when picking a look, I start with one statement and then come up with the rest.

When I decided to try and go to New York Fashion Week this February, I wanted to go with purpose. I’ve always dreamt of going, but what if I went and didn’t belong?

The stylist part of me would surely fit in, because I’ve been helping design costumes and wardrobe for film/tv for years and I just geek out over fashion in general. But the style blogger part of me thought… would I really have a place on my platform for these sorts of runway shows? Would my audience that I’ve worked so hard to genuinely build feel a little less empowered by seeing women that might not represent their body types on the runway?

First of all… let me just get this out of the way. The cut-out side of these boots IS SLAYING ME. It is so flattering what it does to your ankle and your leg. I’m in love! I’m also utilizing the theory that “leopard is a neutral” here - and in this case, I thought it brought out the warm colors of the shirt perfectly.

I rarely throw a cropped jacket with leggings, but today I’m showing you it’s possible!

I saw this sweater online with HEARTS ON THE SLEEVES and… I had to get it. The price is so good, and I threw it with this $10 plaid skirt that I’m dying over.

This would be a great Valentine’s or Galentine’s day look that’s both cozy and chic.

I’m big on polka dots and stripes this year - I think it’s just such a classic, non-obnoxious way to add some spice into your outfit. Don’t get me wrong… polka dots can get overwhelming and annoying to look at. But I love the way that Who What Wear designed this sweatshirt and skirt to either go together or be mixed/matched.

STYLE HAS NO SIZE // DENIM TRENCH + EYELET TOP

Today I’m sharing a look I styled alongside Mireille from City Peach, my fave babe to team up with! This STYLE HAS NO SIZE features one of my favorite wardrobe items: A TRENCH COAT. Not just any trench though… a denim one.

I remember getting my first denim trench coat probably about 6 years ago and there was just something about it I fell in love with. I love the dramatic length that a trench coat brings to a look, first of all. But then denim makes it so different than anything your used to seeing in that style.
