As we are transitioning into Fall weather, I like to be very intentional about the items I buy and why. I’ve always stylistically aligned with Anthropologie but have never been able to shop there, so to speak. Sure, I could find the most fabulous kimono or pair of earrings or shoes. Or maybe a dress that ran big. But it was never a promise. This is a dream come true.
Today I visited the Avalon Anthropologie in Alpharetta, GA and I was so warmly welcomed by the staff. I was BLOWN. AWAY. by the selection. It felt like almost half of the store is plus size now. I cannot tell you how this feels to someone who knows what it’s like to go in a store and not be able to shop for yourself or feel included.

Pregnant and overwhelmed with all of the different maternity options out there (or lack thereof, in some cases)?! GIRL, I GOT YOU. This time - I decided to try something different. I decided to buy JUST the basics, and all the other clothes I need I will size up. And guess what? After I have this baby… I will have an AWESOME POSTPARTUM WARDROBE of regular clothing that isn’t skin tight while I’m getting back to my regular mom-bod.
