With Spring around the corner I wanted to show you some of my favorite looks right now from Madewell, everything is available from XXS-3X (unless it’s sold out in a size). Since Madewell extended their sizing a couple of years ago, I have always been a huge fan. I generally size up in this brand, because sometimes things can run short. I am 5’8, 250ish pounds (no clue really, bye bye scale) and an 18/20 for reference.

So I loved this dress in particular because it's short, it's fun, and it gives me arm coverage. Totally appropriate to wear throughout the summer! Here's the thing about dresses that I love. Generally speaking, I hate pants. Especially when it get's hot outside. But I also don't love how shorts fit my body and so that leaves me with one (or two) options, really. Dresses or skirts.

Am I a super weird person?! Or is this what we call motherhood? I get SO emotional about everything! Today, we took my daughter to the aquarium for the first time and we saw the dolphin show. I got chills the entire time and teared up constantly. I also couldn't stop thinking about Free Willy which wasn't helping.
