WILL IT FIT? // XL FREE PEOPLE TRY-ON
Free People has long been known for their trendy, boho-chic looks, but their size range is limited to XS-XL/00-16. As a size 18/20, I wanted to try out some current pieces for you guys to see how (or if) they fit. Spoiler — I was pleasantly surprised!
For all except one of these looks, I am wearing a pair of Pull-On Jeans from Walmart in a size 20W — if you’re between sizes, I recommend sizing up!
TOP (XL) | JEANS (20W)
The website said that this We The Free Camden Sweatshirt is designed to fit oversized, but I wasn’t sure that would be the case on my size 2X body. I’m so happy to report it definitely still fits oversized on me — not quite as long as on the model but still very roomy! Love how many colors it comes in and the cute split detailing on the sleeves and sides! Even though it’s a sweatshirt, t’s not heavy and thick at all — you could easily wear it all year long!

Many plus size girls know the plight of trying to find a t-shirt that feels comfy but still put together and stylish. This We The Free Avery Tee definitely checks all those boxes! It’s super soft and I love the color of this one (there are other super cute colors too)! It’s so soft and it’s perfect to wear with leggings!
TOP (XL - different color) | JEANS (20W)
I am wearing another color in the We The Free Camden Sweatshirt and I still love it. Tried out this Lowen Midi Skirt and omg it feels so high quality and it actually has extra room on me in the XL?? I am truly so shocked. I will definitely be wearing this all spring/summer! 10/10 great option for the office or the classroom if you’re a teacher! This color is sold out in the XL, but there are several other color options!

This We The Free By The Shore Shirt is my dream top. It feels so cute but comfy and vacation-y. I will 100% be wearing this at the beach frequently. It’s breezy. it’s lightweight. It’s cute. What more could you want? It is unfortunately sold out in the XL right now, but I’m really hoping they restock it!

I was NERVOUS to try this Madeline Sweatshirt, but I really ended up loving it! It’s so comfy and the little collar detail is so dainty and precious. Just like the other sweatshirts I tried, this one is not super thick or hot at all, so I will be wearing it throughout spring (YES even though I live in Georgia haha)
