AFFORDABLE PLUS SIZE DENIM
You know me, I’m always on the lookout for new, affordable denim options for y’all! I have found some really amazing pieces from maurices over the last year or so, and this haul definitely added some new winners!
For reference, here are my typical sizing details:
Height: 5’8 | Alpha Size: 2X | Numeric Size: 18W/20W | Bra Size: 42DD
TOP (2X) | jeans (18) | shoes
DENIM NOTES: these Flare Sleek Pull On High Rise Jeans have a lot of stretch, but not too much. They fit true to size!
TOP (2X) | JEANS (20)
DENIM NOTES: Unfortunately, these Light Curvy High Rise Cheeky Slim Boot Jeans weren't a hit for me. I sized up to a 20 and they fit great in the leg, but still didn't fit right in the waist.
TOP (2X) | JACKET (2X) | JEANS (18) | SHOES
DENIM NOTES: I was really nervous to try these Mid Rise Relaxed Boyfriend Straight Cargo Jeans, but I was really pleasantly surprised how much I liked them! They have good structure while still giving some stretch — and they are super on-trend right now!
TOP (2X) | VEST (2X) | JEANS (20) | SHOES
DENIM NOTES: This is a super classic pair of denim that goes with everything! I do recommend sizing up one size in these Classic 90s High Rise Taper Ankle Jeans, but aside from them running a bit small, I really like them!

DENIM NOTES: I also sized up to a 20 in these Cool Comfort Sculptress High Rise Curvy Flare Jeans and LOVED them! Flares are such a fun way to change up your typical denim silhouette and elevate any look.
DENIM NOTES: I got the 18 in these Supersoft 90s High Rise Taper Ankle Jeans and they were a little snug in the waist but not enough for me to size up.
