5 DAYS OF PLUS SIZE CASUAL OUTFITS
For reference, here are my typical sizing details:
Height: 5’8 | Alpha Size: 2X | Numeric Size: 18W/20W | Bra Size: 42DD
DAY 1
top (3x) | sweatpants (3x) | coat (2x) | shoes | purse
I LOVE these shoes, top and sweats so so much! I recommend sizing up in the sweats if you want some extra room, I'm wearing 3X! Also size up in the shirt, it is SO good! I have it in the 3X. I would also recommend sizing up in the coat if you're worried about shoulders, I have it in the 2X but it is slightly tight! This purse is so cute and versatile and goes with everything!
DAY 2
top (2x) | jeans (18W) | cardigan (2x) | shoes (similar) | purse
I am so happy with how this look turned out! I’m wearing 18W in these maurices jeans but I’d also be ok with the 20. The button-down top is 2X and runs true on me, but I recommend sizing up if unsure or between sizes. The cardigan is Amazon The Drop and I love it! I’m wearing the 2X and it runs true, don’t size down in this one! Shoes are old but I linked similar ones here!
DAY 3
sweatshirt (2x) | jeans (20W) | shoes | purse
This is the perfect running errands look to me. I am wearing a pair of maurices jeans — I love the way they feel, but I do recommend sizing up one maybe even 2 sizes. These are a size 20 and are still tight on my belly. This pullover from Target's Ava and Viv line is almost sold out so I linked some similar options on LTK, but you might have luck finding it in store. I’m wearing a 2X and it’s so comfy and I LOVE the length! Shoes and bag are both from Amazon!
DAY 4
button-down shirt (3x) | tank (2x) | jeans (20W) | shoes | purse
I’m such a sucker for a good comfy look that is affordable and this one definitely falls into that category. The jeans are Walmart pull-on flares in a 20W and they fit so well - I’m so pleasantly surprised! Y’all - this button-down top is also Walmart and is the best coziest cutest button-down ever - I’m wearing a 3X and love the extra room! Paired it with a layering tank from Old Navy in a 2X. Finished the look with a Walmart bag, and a pair of Converse sneakers!
DAY 5
sweatshirt (2x) | blazer (similar) | jeans (similar) | shoes | purse
Last but not least, we’re ending on a fun, chic, casual look! The blazer is old from Smash + Tess — linked similar here. Love this maurice’s sweatshirt so much — it’s so cozy and fits great in my usual 2X. The jeans I’m wearing here are old from Lane Bryant — they are sold out but linked similar! Finished the look with a pair of Walmart sneakers and Amazon bag!
