LOVEFOOL was founded by two best friends, Trixie & Lala. Over and underwhelmed by the process of shopping, the duo decided to go back to their closets to see what pieces actually resonated with them. They found that their favorite ones that they kept coming back to were the mostly 90s vintage pieces that they had thrifted on their bestie dates together. Using those pieces as inspiration, they built a curated collection of styles that are effortless, versatile, and go great with what you already own
We’ve partnered with an amazing female-owned factory in China to produce our clothing. As Asian-American women, we want to demystify what made in China can mean. Trixie meets often with a small team of women production managers and pattern makers via zoom and wechat to create the best quality Lovefool pieces. Each worker is paid a living wage, works 40 hours a week with the opportunity to work overtime if they wish, in safe and clean working conditions. Working with these skilled craftsmen allows us to offer the best quality pieces at an affordable price point which means more accessibility. We try our best to source from deadstock fabrics, but always with quality and softness in mind first. We do small batch production runs, in sizes S-4X to make sure we’re not overproducing on any style. We use compostable mailers and recycled paper cardstock for our postcards and hangtags.
