Thanksgiving with the Doroughs

Today, Wes and I had planned on being in quarantine until we realized we could go to my Dad’s house. We drove up to their new house, one they’ve been building and dreaming of for years and finally have. My dad designed the entire thing and it’s a very special place! I had to hold the tears back as we walked in because — just so many emotions.

This year has been a huge reminder of what’s important in life. For me, it’s been a bit of a wake up call.

I can’t explain the feeling of gratefulness I have for our family and close friends. And most of all, these girls and Wes D. 🖤

Wes and I cooked our very first Thanksgiving Meal from scratch and pulled it off— I can’t believe it! I couldn’t taste it but dang, it looked good. 🖤 Hope you all had a great day today and I’m so thankful for this community!!! Tell me about your day! Xoxo
