FALL TRENDS: CLOGS OR NAH?
Happy Friday! While I am completely jealous that I'm not at New York Fashion Week, I am happy that I know a few people who are there and I can stalk their Instagram stories from the comfort of my own home. Haha! True life.
First things first. THIS PONCHO.
If you know me, you know I'm a PONCHO LOVER all the way. This Robert Rodriguez one I found at Tootsies is EVERYTHING. It's pretty much fall, y'all. Give me ALL. THE. PONCHOS.
Alright. The real reason for this post: Let's talk about clogs.
Not going to lie... for some reason the actual word makes me squirm. My last experience with clogs was on a TV show with an actress who played a sort of creepy housekeeper who wore black tights and nothing but clogs. Seriously that's the last time I bought a clog.
So...you can only imagine my anxiety when I saw they were making a comeback. That being said, I took a step out of my comfort zone last week and tried these suede bad boys on at DSW... and I almost died. Of fabulousness. After all, they're made by Free People who can pretty much do no wrong when it comes to shoes.
The most shocking thing? These are super comfortable and I could actually walk. Seriously. This may be the beginning of a new addiction to clogs. (Ugh. Dry heave everytime I say that word. I don't know why.)
Most of these pieces came from my favorite high end boutique in Atlanta, Tootsies. If you're looking for a new place to shop with great variety, I highly recommend checking them out. They've been around for years, and I use them constantly for projects. I work with Maya, so if you go, ask for her!
The clutch is Clare V and also available at Tootsies. Jeans are my good ole favorites from Good American.
