5 DAYS OF XXS-5X AMAZON OUTFITS

I am always excited to find new plus size Amazon fashion pieces to show y’all! My most consistent favorite Amazon brand so far is definitely Amazon The Drop — they have such great staple pieces mixed in with their limited run items, and I love that the size range for most items is XXS-5X.

The HOD team is always creating and adding to idea lists over on my Amazon Storefront, so if you haven’t checked that out, I definitely recommend it!

For reference, here are my typical sizing details:

Height: 5’8 | Alpha Size: 2X | Numeric Size: 18W/20W | Bra Size: 42DD

DAY 1

TANK TOP (2X) | BLAZER (XXL) | JEANS (18L) | BAG | SHOES | STRAPLESS BRA (42DD)

WHERE TO WEAR:

These jeans are nice enough to pass for work pants, they just aren’t dressy slacks, so you really could wear this in any workplace environment ranging from business casual to semi-professional. This also would make for a cute date night look!

I really love black jeans because you can dress them up SO easily, like I’ve done here! These jeans are easy pull on high rise skinnies and I found they fit my body type true to size. I got them in long but didn’t need to, in this outfit I have them rolled up. They’re perfect for work or date night! This dressy tank has some stretch and I LOVE it - comes in several colors! The blazer is really well made, with great structure and stretch. I have it in the XXL, and I really like how fitted it is but I wasn’t able to button it. The 2X I’ve tried before felt a little too oversized, though. This classic leather quilted black purse is so versatile, and I paired it with these cute nude and black low heels that are actually very comfy!!

DAY 2

Sweatshirt dress (2X) | Denim Jacket (2X) | Shoes | Belt Bag | bag extender | megababe thigh rescue | slip shorts

WHERE TO WEAR:

Running errands, kids sports games, any sports games, traveling

Okay, hear me out - this dress is MAGICAL and COMFY and ALL THE VIBES… especially this time of year as we are slowly transitioning to actual Fall weather! It is incredibly soft and also has some stretch, comes in several colors, AND HAS POCKETS. It will 100% be a go to for me in the coming months, as it’s so easy to throw on and go! Would be great to travel in as well. I threw on this denim jacket from the drop because 1, I love the color and the vintage vibe it has and 2, it’s a great way to layer when the weather is indecisive. You know, when it’s chilly in the morning but by lunch it’s warmed up?! I am pretty pumped about this jacket, I don’t have one in this vintage type of blue denim and I can’t wait to style it more ways. It runs true to size, and it has a tiny bit of stretch but more of a vintage structured feel… yet it’s not uncomfortable, if that makes sense. I added this bum bag (also linking the extender here) because it makes it so easy to be hands free, on the go! For sizing reference, I don’t have the extender but I am at the max and would probably benefit from having it. Last but not least, these sneakers! OMG, I hesitate to say this because I am not 100% sure, but I think they may be way more comfortable than the “original” style that’s been around for decades… They feel like they may even be wider! There is a crazy amount of comfort and support when you slip them on, I was super shocked! I still love my original ones, but I’ll definitely be wearing these frequently from now on! If you’re worried about thighs rubbing together (aka thigh chafe), I gotchu. I either do MegaBabe Thigh Rescue and regular undies, or undershorts, or both!

DAY 3

TOP (XXL) | cardigan (2x) | skirt (2x) | BAG | boots

WHERE TO WEAR:

Definitely want to save your leather for girls night out, date night, or going to a concert!

This faux leather mini skirt is actually SUPER comfortable, and knowing this style isn’t easy on my body type my expectations weren’t too high. But I was pleasantly surprised!! It fits great, but I’ll admit it felt a little short for my personal taste. I styled It with a long black cardigan, for that reason - and I actually love the result. Mixing several colors here, and I LOVE it. I think maybe a size up would be the way to go in this skirt if you’re shaped like me, I am in the 2X! The cardigan runs a little generous, I am in the 2X and I probably would have been ok in the XXL. These boots are so cute and I love the camel color, but they are a little tight on my 16 inch calves. Linking another option here for wider calves!

DAY 4

Dress (2x) | cardigan (2x) | BAG | boots

WHERE TO WEAR:

I can see this being a GREAT teacher outfit option, really you could wear this in any business casual environment!

When I saw this popular dress (designed by my friend Caralyn Mirand) comes in a dark floral like this, I knew I had to grab it for Fall! Dresses like this are so easy to style throughout the cooler seasons with tall boots and a layer! I am in the 2X, and it fits me perfectly but with the tiered detail, if you are wider in the hips I would suggest sizing up. I love the length, and everything about it! The long duster cardigan is perfect for a look like this! The boots are great but tight on my 16 inch calves, so we also linked another one just in case you’re looking for that!

DAY 5

cardigan (xxl) | JEANS (18L) | BAG | SHOES

WHERE TO WEAR:

You could wear this to work, date night, or anywhere you want to feel pulled together and semi-dressy!

For this look, I wanted to create a simple yet chic look that also is comfortable, and I think I nailed it (if I do say so myself)! I love the soft oatmeal color of this cardigan, and I love that you can wear it as an actual top as I did here. Pairing it with a classic skinny pant and a classic shoe like this was the perfect recipe! Cardigan runs true to size, and I did size down to the XXL for a more fitted look. I also have it in cream in the 2X, and you can see the difference in fit here. The jeans run true to size, if you are thicker in the thighs size up though! Shoes are surprisingly COMFY!!!
