EVERYTHING I USE ON MY HAIR // Haircare Favorites
I have very thick, but fine hair... which means I am subject to a lot of dryness and tangles on the daily. I've also been coloring my hair for almost 20 years, so it's imperative that I take care of it or I literally would be a walking rat's nest. Ha! I found my ride or die hair stylist about 7 years ago and she uses no heat when she colors my hair which is amazing. She also does an Olaplex treatment with every visit (I go every few months) which does wonders for my hair. Since I haven't been able to see her since February, I've been investing a little more in what I put in to my hair and I've added some conditioning treatments that I use every time I wash my hair - keep in mind, I only wash my hair about 2x a week.
I've also discovered a holy grail shampoo and conditioner that keeps my color from turning yellow, which I'll mention below.

SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER:
Wow, okay so at first glance you're going to think "wow this girl is high maintenance" - which, I'm not denying... but I've found what works for my hair and that is NOT using the same shampoo and conditioner over and over again. I prefer to rotate between these 3 - you CAN have too much of a good thing, especially when you've colored it as much as I have!
Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil Shampoo and Conditioner - This is my go to, everyday choice. this is one of the only shampoo and conditioner that will make my dry and tangly hair instantly soft. I've been using it for years, and when I stray away... I notice the difference.
Celeb Luxury Viral Silver Colorwash and Viral Colorditioner in Silver
This color depositing shampoo and conditioner has been amazing in balancing out the yellowing and brassiness that naturally happens after a long time with highlights. It also doesn't dry my hair out which is amazing.
Dry Bar Blonde Ale Brightening Shampoo and Conditioner
I use this on rotation from the Viral .. it makes my hair super soft and still helps keep my hair an ash blonde.
STYLING PRODUCTS:
I am not much for styling cremes and hairsprays, but I have finally figured out what products work for my hair (everyone is so different) - and here they are! Remember, my goal is ALWAYS to detangle, smooth and soften my dry, unruly hair right out of the shower. And since I only wash it a couple of times a week, I also use products for Restyling.
Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil - put this on your wet hair after you get out of the shower and it works as a moisturizer and detangler it is LIFE CHANGING - expensive but I only use about a nickel size each time
Bumble and Bumble Glow Blow Dry Accelerator - this stuff is amazing and cuts my dry time in half
Navy Hair Care Style Navigator - not only does this smell amazing but I use it on my dry hair before I curl it, use code ASH30 for 30% off all NAVY haircare - I also love their dry shampoo and texture spray so link those as well
Bumble and Bumble While You Sleep Overnight Conditioning Mask - I've been putting this in my hair overnight and it does wonders... its a leave in
Styling Tools
Kristen Ess Pivoting Curling Wand - i love how lightweight it is, the price and it works really well.
Wet brush - this is a must! They come in hundreds of styles and types too, so there’s a wet brush for everyone.
Rusk Super Freak Hair Dryer - once I upgraded from a generic hair dryer to a salon level one, I noticed the difference immediately. Expensive but worth the price, I have had this dryer now for over 5 years and it hasn't failed me once. It dries my hair in under 20 minutes (It used to take me 40).
To straighten my hair, I let it air dry for an hour or so and then I blow it straight with my wet brush.
