NYFW: WHAT I WORE // SUPER WIDE LEG POWER SUIT
As I walked down the streets of NYC, this 2-piece ensemble most certainly demanded respect and attention. So let’s just call it what it is: a power suit.
YESSSS. *All the praise hands*
I grew up watching my mom wear coordinating suits and I dreamed of doing that when I got older. Thank the LAWD they are back! If there’s one thing that TERRIFIES me it’s wide leg ANYTHING. But I couldn’t resist at least trying this suit (that by the way, you can mix and match)! The legs are really wide, but I love them. And the waist sits exactly where it needs to be, and the crotch is perfect too. What are the odds?!
I decided to throw this with my new wardrobe staple, the sequin cami. The rose gold was such a fun touch.
This blazer could also easily be worn with black jeans and a heel or flat, and the suit pants could also be worn sans blazer with a champagne silk blouse or you could keep it simple with a solid black top.

SUIT: comes in plus size and straight sizes. I am wearing a size 18 in the blazer and a 20 in the pants. I could have probably done a 16 in the blazer and an 18 in the pants but the 20 was comfortable! Click the pictures below to shop.
SHOES: My classic black booties are sold out (they’re years old) but I did the work and found you some great, not too high, affordable options! Invest in 1 pair of black booties and you’ll never regret it. I wear mine all year!
CAMI: I am wearing the 18 but it’s honestly a little roomy on me and I probably need the 16. So, size down.
